CITY OF DELMAR SPECIAL
CITY COUNCIL MEETING
May 24, 2006
The Delmar City Council met in special session on May 24, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Delmar Council Chambers. Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order with the following members present at roll call: Goodall, Kennicker, Jebsen, Eberhart, Simmons.
M/S Jebsen, Kennicker to approve consent agenda. Roll call vote: All ayes.
M/S Kennicker, Jebsen to approve the 2005-2006 Budget Amendment as presented. Roll call vote: All ayes.
Mayor Johnson updated the
council on the contamination issue and noted that a decision should be made
within 2 weeks from Casey’s on the settlement.
Discussion on the building permit request made by Bob Eby amongst the council.
Permit was denied as it does not meet ordinance requirements. Mayor Johnson
will ask the city attorney to write a letter regarding the denial to Mr. Eby
and to voice the concerns regarding the driveway off of Delmar Avenue and the
culvert located in this area.
Clerk is to be instructed to contact Mike Wagener to get a price on the replacement and construction of new steps located at the corner of Market and Delmar Avenue on the North side and will submit the bid at the next council meeting.
